The Region 4 meeting will be held April 25 & 26 at First Community Credit Union in Chesterfield, MO (approx. 25 miles west of St. Louis). The agenda is complete and some very good speakers have been lined up including Randy Romes from CliftonLarsonAllen who will present Risks and Trends in IT Security and Social Engineering and the updated FFIEC Authentication Guidance. Other topics include Data Analysis / Continuous Monitoring, Enterprise Risk Management, Compliance Hot Topics as well as Real Estate Lending and Mortgage Banking Activities.
A Supervisory Examiner, from the NCUA, has also agreed to present Emerging Trends and the CU Audit Programs. I believe the program is shaping up to what I hope will be both engaging and informative. CPE credits will be available.
Lastly, I hope to sprinkle in a little fun along the way. Someone will win a Kindle Fire and other items will be given away as well. We look forward to seeing you in April.
