Please plan to attend our first Chapter Meeting of 2019
CliftonLarsenAllen, an ACUIA Platinum Vendor/Partner has volunteered to host our meeting. In addition to lunch with a roundtable discussion, CLA will give a presentation on Enterprise Risk Management. With many credit union audit departments becoming involved in or responsible for ERM, this will be a great opportunity to learn more about it. Ask your peers what they’re doing, ask the experts for solutions, establish connections you may call on later. Also, ACUIA is in the midst of a membership drive, so we’re opening this meeting to non-members, too. Bring your internal audit and ERM colleagues, peers, and friends from other credit unions or your own. There is no reason not to attend!

What is an ACUIA Chapter Meeting?
It’s very informal. The Chapter Meetings were established by the ACUIA Board of Directors with a “roundtable” format to allow credit union peers the opportunity to share ideas and learn from each other - talk about what’s going on in your credit union and/or internal audit department. If anyone:
- has a specific issue we can discuss it;
- needs a resource, someone might know of one;
- is taking on new responsibilities and don’t know where to start, someone may be able to help.
The Chapter Meeting is designed to network and get to know each other - that way when you need help you are more comfortable reaching out to the people in your Chapter.
