Please join us on Wednesday, May 12th for a presentation around Regulation E disputes by Crowe LLP. In this session, we will discuss Reg E dispute requirements related to EFT error notifications, resolution timelines and extensions, member disclosure/notification and other topical areas. We will also touch upon how such requirements may overlap and/or differ from operating rules and regulations from payment networks like Visa and Mastercard. The presentation will also cover the implementation of controls to operationalize these requirements and to stay compliant. Finally industry trends around threat and risk mitigation will be addressed as will common pitfalls and issues such as the timeliness of provisional credit and the completion of reasonable resolution investigations.

About the Presenters:
Emily Morrissey, CRCM, is a Senior Manager in the Compliance Consulting practice at Crowe, LLP. Emily is responsible for managing the delivery of compliance related audit and testing fieldwork for the firm's compliance clients on a national level. Among the dozens of clients she serves in this capacity are institutions ranging from community credit unions and banks to financial institutions with assets greater than $10 billion. These institutions are overseen by the CFPB, NCUA, FRB, FDIC, OCC and various state regulators.
Justin Brown is a Senior Consultant within the Regulatory Compliance Risk Consulting Group, working primarily with financial services entities and Consumer Compliance regulations at Crowe, LLP. Since joining Crowe, Mr. Brown has primarily focused on consumer regulatory compliance engagements and initiatives at large financial institutions, including national commercial and consumer banks and financial technology firms.
In his previous role at a Big 4 firm, he assisted on a range of engagements focused on consumer deposits, enforcement action response, rule implementation, new product and service reviews and control design and effectiveness testing. Mr. Brown has also assisted on projects related to residential mortgage lending, flood insurance, fair lending and mortgage compliance.
