In February of 2014 the Obama Administration announced the new National Cyber-Security Initiative.  The guidelines from the initiative have been quickly adopted by regulatory agencies and the FFIEC has undertaken a significant effort to make the initiative the cornerstone of examinations.  In this talk we will explore the CyberSecurity as it relates to this guidance and the credit union.  The talk will address changes in vendor management, the renewed importance of the CISO role, new controls to address new threats and new expectations for increased Board oversight of Cyber Security.
