The Paragon Group has a new opportunity for an experienced credit union or Bank Enterprise Risk Management Specialist. The Risk Management Specialist, will provide consultation services as an Enterprise Risk Management professional, to a number of clients in the banking and credit union industries

Primary duties will include:

• Analyze and manage risk management issues by identifying, measuring and making decisions on operational or enterprise risks for clients;

• Document and ensure communication of key risks to clients;

• Maintain input or data quality of risk management systems;

• Recommend ways to control/reduce risk;

• Identify key risks and mitigation factors of potential investments, such as asset types and values, legal and ownership structures, professional reputations, customer bases or industry segments;

• Gather risk related data from internal or external resources and devise systems and processes to monitor validity of risk modeling outputs;

• Produce reports and presentations that outline findings, explain risk positions or recommend changes.

You will be a competitive applicant if you have:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience as an internal audit or compliance specialist;

• Demonstrated experience working in an audit or compliance capacity for a bank or credit union;

• Strong organizational skills, with ability to handle multiple clients with conflicting deadlines;

• Superb written and verbal communication skills—including presentation skills;

• Exceptional interpersonal skills with ability and desire to work with a close team;

• Ability to learn new software programs and operate standard software such as Microsoft Office;

• The desire to be challenged by frequent change present in working with multiple clients.
